Universal Technical & Engineering Campus (G) is a non-profit organization registered under the Companies Act No. 17 of 2007. UNITEC is our main branding name, and SICMA (Sun International Computer Management Academy) is our child institution. Before 2009, SICMA trained over 5,400 students in the Northern Province, many of whom are now working in various professional sectors.
We offer nearly 30 courses ranging from kindergarten to degree programs, supported by a highly experienced panel of teachers and lecturers. Our focus is to empower students to make a positive impact on the world through modern teaching strategies and innovative learning approaches.
UNITEC aims to achieve global recognition by maintaining high academic standards and fostering educational innovation. Our strategic focus is on delivering outstanding learning experiences that help students reach their highest potential in society.
Our lecturers are qualified professionals, each holding at least a Bachelor’s degree in their respective fields. We adopt a unique teaching methodology that differs from traditional systems, focusing on subject specialization and student-centered learning.
Sun Technical Engineering College (Pte) Ltd operates as SUNTEC Campus, with SICMA as its child institution. Before 2009, SICMA trained over 5,400 students in Northern Sri Lanka.
We provide nearly 30 academic programs from primary to degree level, guided by qualified and experienced educators. In 2021, UNITEC was launched to focus on higher and professional education. We also offer international standard courses in English, ICT, and Interactive Media.
We successfully implemented government-funded teacher training programs in Mullaitheevu and completed the ASSETS Project in collaboration with World University Service Canada (WUSC).
UNITEC Campus is a leading ICT and Business Management educational institution in Northern Sri Lanka. Established in November 2003 as a SICMA project, it began operations in a few cities and has now expanded across the Northern and Eastern provinces.
UNITEC collaborates with international colleges and universities to provide globally recognized diploma and degree programs, contributing to the advancement of the Sri Lankan education sector.
